We run a meticulous schedule to the likes of any professional athletic program.

However, we understand that not all Athletes are built the same, nor have the same goals on this journey. 


Time slots are structured so that you may come and go as you see fit with your goals.​

We will not be the reason Athletes do not succeed.

Our mission is to provide every Athlete with the autonomy they deserve, and provide the freedom to allow each individual author their own story. 

You set the goal, we provide the steps and together we get the job done.

Class Types

Structured classes for all levels - designed to build skill, confidence, and competence in both adults and kids.

Technique & Drilling

 

You will be educated through a system of concepts and methods taught by our Pro Team Members. These time slots will be reserved strictly for educating athletes how to apply an array of techniques based on the topic of the week and will involve a mixture of competition tested instructional content and their signature personal methods. These sessions will also implement part practice protocols to apply the recently taught techniques - providing athletes with the ideal learning approaches to induce effective skill acquisition.

 

OPEN MAT

 

Pure and absolute mat time. Without it, your Jiu-Jitsu will not improve.

These sessions are intended to provide the opportunity for athletes to use the mat space to continue working on the content provided, work through their own content, and/or to get their daily rounds in. Open mats are Gi or No-Gi at the discretion of the athletes, so come prepared with either or both suitable training attires.


WRESTLING TECHNIQUE

  

How to, when to and what to do from your feet. These sessions will be dedicated to creating competent wrestlers and therefore grapplers, so that no athlete is left fumbling their way through one of the most consequential phases of a grappling fight. These sessions will be a mix of techniques, concepts and conditioning to ensure that all AGT athletes are considered the standard.


Wrestling

 

We embrace dominant grappling from the clap bump. Wrestling rounds are essential to ensuring this and each technique class will be followed by designated wrestling rounds. These rounds are MANDATORY for all athletes looking to compete under the Atlantic Grappling Team banner. Athletes will look to understand wrestling and stand up concepts as if it is another equal important aspect of grappling - because it is. This is the standard. 


Competition Training

 

A class reserved for a minimum skill level of a Blue belt or Amateur MMA fighter. With a focus on the individual who has shown to respect their partners, the mats, and themselves with wholehearted applications to improvement. 


Our goal is to encourage the absolute best training room for all individuals from any gym and to build an environment deserving of the most diligent. Get in touch to express your interest in participating in these sessions or to be involved in hosting a training block. 

With no intentions for the casual grappler. 

The time to drill, work through positionals, situationals and share the mats with a collective of serious and goal-oriented athletes. This will be high intensity training, and will focus on building the highest calibre athletes from every and all gyms in the area. Programmed to be distinct and with the appropriate considerations of an athlete's full time training load. This will be the best training room and session to reach the highest level of Jiu-Jitsu with like minded-individuals in Brisbane, if not Australia.

Kids PROGRAM


Comprehension and Independence.

These sessions will focus on building these young athletes with the understanding of intention and simplified & applicable concepts to competitive grappling. These young athletes will be educated on the foundations of effective Jiu-Jitsu, simplified competition tested systems, and will understand how to independently and effectively learn new skills - so that they will learn how to express themselves as individuals through martial arts.

 

KIDS COMP TEAM

An invite only program.

For the young individual who wishes to dedicate their efforts to competition and professional Jiu-Jitsu. This program is built as a session to mould the professional grapplers of the next generation. We will focus on developing all the traits of a strong competitor: focus, resilience, discipline and consistency. 

Our goal is to build the strongest, most resilient and most humble athletes with the utmost priority on sustainable and healthy growth. These classes will consist of competition techniques, goal orientated positional drills, psychological framework, and dedicated individual attention to each young and determined athlete to ensure they are achieving their goals
